I'm a certified Jungian coach. I help people hear the wisest version of themselves, the one that already knows what their life is asking for, and finally act on it.
I started out as a fashion designer, with my own collections and my own runway shows. Then I taught myself graphic design, opened a studio, and ran teams. Then I became a strategic director in brand and messaging. I became excellent at strategising for other companies, doing important work on a large scale, working with strategic thinking leaders, politicians, advisers and CEOs.
Each move looked like progress, and honestly, mostly it was. I was good at these jobs and I liked a lot of it.
But somewhere in the early fashion years I noticed something was off, and I couldn't tell you what. It wasn't a failure. Nothing was wrong on paper. I just had this quiet, persistent sense that the life I was building and the person building it didn't quite match.
I've always been the self-development one. Read all the books. I tried CBT (found it helpful, but a bit of a band-aid), then went deep into psychotherapy. It changed my life, and I've never stopped working on myself since; and later, many other modes of therapies: coaching, somatics and more. I got to know myself inside out. I could sit and analyse mine and the human mind all day long.
But then, I'd go home and live exactly the same week again, and again, and again...
I even used to get frustrated at my therapists. Just give me advice already, you know me so well!
However, a therapist's job is not to push you into action. Their job is to hold a space safe enough for you to be honest in, discover a lot, and make those very subtle changes in that safe space with them.
Still, I was stuck in a strange place. I understood so much about myself, but I never felt encouraged or really knew what to do with all of that knowledge. Knowledge is one thing. Living differently is another entirely, and no amount of thinking ever got me there.
Years ago I dreamt about a black dog running out of a house that was in flames. It got to the front porch, stopped, and looked up at the moon.
I had no idea what it meant. I wrote it down anyway.
I get it now. For me, dogs are gut. Instinct. The thing in you that knows before you do. That dog knew the house was burning long before anyone said so, and it didn't run in circles either. It went out into the open air and looked up at something old and steady and cyclical.
For years, I was the dog running. These days I mostly know what needs to burn before the flames get high, and I have a lot more say in where I go next. None of that came from analysing harder.
And not because I'm holding back.
"Wait, what?!" I can hear you wondering in confusion... "Isn't this the whole point? To get more than awareness, to get action?" Well yes, and no...
Answers that come from outside you, don't stick. You know this already. It's why you never took the advice. From friends, family, colleagues, teachers, partners... We can get insight from others, we can learn, but when action is taken from advice from others, it's normally something that has already been confirmed from within.
I believe your unconscious self has been trying to tell you something for a while now. Probably longer than you think. I'm here to create a space, and help guide your unconscious in giving you the answers you seek.
For a while I thought I'd train as a therapist. Secretly, I wanted to discover the secrets the therapists weren't telling me. Instead, I decided to try coaching first, just to feel what it was like to help people that way.
What I wanted was a kind of coaching that could continue where therapy leaves off. One that takes everything a client has already uncovered about themselves, and helps them finally move with it.
Boy, did I find it. This, I realised, was the key. Not just a key for me, but one I wanted to share with the world.
What surprised me most was how fast it works. People bring something they've been circling for years, and it opens. Sometimes in twenty minutes. Magically it doesn't just open, it moves into the action I've been waiting years to see.
Certified Jungian Life Coach, trained at the Jungian Coaching School. Currently working toward ICF accreditation. I am constantly studying further (currently integrating somatic experiencing into my work), and I get professional coaching supervision.
I moved across the world on my own. Born in Perth, raised mostly in Sydney, and moved to Israel. Building a life from one culture to the next, I've learnt a lot about immigration and finding identity in a complex world.
When I'm inspired: I sing. I used to write my own music and gig in city apartments and bars. I cook creatively, pasta and ramen from scratch are my favourites. I watercolour. While my husband fishes with our kid on his back, I like to sit with my feet in the water and paint.
I'm obsessed with how minds work. Psychology books the way other people watch TV. Right now it's parenting research, because I'm a parent, and am fascinated by all the different schools of thought around parenting. (Though now I thankfully have a better way of discerning with research or parenting tools that can become my truth, through coaching.)
My best days are simple. Great energy in my house, a glass of wine, a candle or some sage burning, chill music, a good day with my kid, and good evening boogie, and a dinner with my husband. That's it. That's the list.
One session will tell you more than another month of thinking about it.
